Re: Essential Critical Infrastructure
Dear Client,
Dayliter Rentals/PLS Rentals, provides equipment needed to facilitate natural gas and crude oil operations, including the gathering, compression, processing, transportation and storage of natural gas and the gathering of crude oil. On March 16, 2020 the President of the United States issued updated Coronavirus Guidance for America. That guidance provides that the operators of essential critical infrastructure, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, have a special responsibility to continue to operate without interruption.
On March 19, 2020, the Department of Homeland Security Cyber Security & Infrastructure Security Agency (“CISA”) issued the enclosed memorandum regarding the identification of essential critical infrastructure. This memorandum identifies the gathering, compression, processing, transportation and storage of natural gas and the gathering of crude oil as essential critical infrastructure. The continued operation of PLS is necessary for the continued delivery of the energy commodities that are vital to the ability of the United States to respond to the current pandemic.
The CISA memorandum identifies “workers who conduct a range of operations and services that are essential to continue critical infrastructure viability, including staffing operations centers, maintaining and repairing critical infrastructure, operating call centers, working construction, and performing management functions, among others.” You are receiving this letter because, as a client to PLS, we understand the services that we provide are essential and critical to continuing operations. We will continue to provide services without interruption while being careful, considerate, and diligent to adapt to new processes and procedures in today’s dynamic workplace environment.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact your Manager.
Sincerely,
